Etymology of paper

The word PAPER comes from the latin papyrus, which derives from the greek word papyros (paper, paper made of papyrus stalks).

Η λέξη PAPER προέρχεται από το λατινικό papyrus, που με τη σειρά του προέρχεται από την ελληνική λέξη πάπυρος.

papyros –> papyrus –> paper
